Impact & Outcomes
Every number here represents a woman whose life has changed. Every story is a community transformed. This is what AllWoman4Betteh is building — and what we are accountable for.
The Women's Prosperity Index
Sierra Leone's first composite measure of women's economic wellbeing
The Women's Prosperity Index (WPI) is AllWoman4Betteh's flagship measurement framework — a composite index that tracks women's economic empowerment across five dimensions: financial inclusion, enterprise activity, energy access, leadership participation, and community solidarity. The WPI is published annually and used to hold governments, donors, and institutions to account.
Access to savings, credit, insurance, and formal financial services
Business ownership, market participation, and income generation
Reliable, affordable, and clean energy for household and business use
Women in decision-making roles at community, district, and national level
Membership of women's groups, networks, and collective action bodies
The 2025 Women's Prosperity Index baseline report is in preparation. Data collection is underway across all 14 districts. Results will be published in Q4 2025.
Programme Outcomes
What our programmes are delivering on the ground
The 2014 National Study on Women's Access to Finance in Sierra Leone — the evidence base that launched the movement.
Community Action Circles operating across all target districts, with diaspora chapters in the UK, USA, and Europe.
Prosperity Centres delivering financial literacy, enterprise training, and clean energy access in target communities.
The AllWoman4Betteh Institute is building the next generation of women leaders across Sierra Leone and the diaspora.
Advocacy wins at national level, with the Women's Prosperity Index establishing a new accountability framework for Sierra Leone.
Impact Stories
Real women. Real change.
These stories are placeholders — to be replaced with real case studies, testimonials, and impact narratives from women in our programmes. If you have a story to share, we want to hear it.
Before the savings group, I had no way to plan for the future. Now I have a loan, a growing business, and I am teaching my daughter what I have learned.
When we organise together, people listen. Our circle has changed how decisions are made in this community — and women are at the table now.
The solar panel changed everything. I can work after dark. My children can study. My business has grown because I am no longer paying for kerosene.
District Reach
Where we work across Sierra Leone
AllWoman4Betteh works across all 14 districts of Sierra Leone, with deep programme presence in five priority districts. Our 2025–2028 strategic plan expands this to full national coverage.
Our Accountability Commitments
Annual Impact Report
Published every year — our finances, our outcomes, and our honest assessment of what worked and what did not.
Women's Prosperity Index
An independent composite measure of women's economic wellbeing, published annually and freely available.
Community Feedback Loops
Every programme includes structured feedback from the women we serve — and we act on what we hear.
Donor Transparency
All major donors are listed in our annual report. We do not accept funding that compromises our independence or our values.
Help Us Build the Evidence
Our impact data is only as strong as the stories behind it. Share your story, support our research, or partner with us to measure what matters.
